DESCRIPTION |
Your duties will include:
Planning merchandise and forecast sales
Planning category performance and margin measurement
Coordinating with IT for stock data control to ensure the maintenance of accurate data administration
Assessing reliability of available software and systems
Improving commercial support and ensuring maximisation of sales and profit margins
Identifying best selling trends and establishing demand through store and customer contact
Recommending stock builds and assessing store merchandising plans
Analysing competitor prices, strategy to exploit gaps in market and identify other opportunities
Managing the performance of assistant merchandisers within the brands team

CANDIDATE PROFILE |
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a great understanding of the retail system and solid experience as a senior merchandiser and will enjoy a high level of responsibility. The ability to manage a team and influence others will also be vital. |
