DESCRIPTION
This position is for a Deputy General Counsel (“DGC”) reporting to The DGS General Counsel and the President DGS International. The DGC shall be responsible to provide legal services to DGS International headquartered in Kuwait with offices throughout the world.

The DGC provides support to the VP Contracts, VP operations and the financial compliance group. He /She shall be knowledgeable in all aspects of US Government Contract law including FAR/CAS compliance, protests, claims and contract administration/closeout issues. Knowledge of conflict of interest/OCI requirements is essential. The individual should also be familiar with import/export and ITAR issues. Knowledge of operating under a FOCI mitigation agreement, is also helpful.

The individual would be responsible to support the creation of various DGS entities throughout the world requiring familiarity with various SOFA agreements. The individual would be responsible to assign work to and supervise outside counsel.
